I'm John Harrison, a software developer, currently based between the High Peak and Manchester, United Kingdom.
Objectives
I aim to use International standards and open source technologies to produce accurate, efficient, and reliable software tools for solving complex real-world problems, particularly relating to distributed big data management and discovery.
Experience
I work primarily on server-side web applications written in Python. Due to having worked in small teams for most of my career, I'm also competent in many aspects of Linux systems administration as well as front-end web technologies including:
